On January 23, 2017, United Way honored the hard work of Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECCs). We held a festive celebration at Watson's Shack & Rail in Downtown Champaign.
ECCs are the link between United Way and our 230+ partner companies. ECCs manage all aspects of a company's employee giving campaign. From initial planning to gathering up the last pledge form, they work with United Way staff to have the best campaign possible! ECC's help United Way of Champaign County raise $1,722,000 in employee pledges in 2016 (and counting!). That's over 50% of our annual fundraising total! ECCs volunteer their time to make sure all employees at their company have the opportunity to give.
ECCs heard from Justin Spring, 2016 Campaign Co-Chair, who thanked them for their tireless work. Guest speaker Nancy Greenwalt shared how United Way helps Promise Healthcare achieve their mission of increasing access to healthcare. Incoming Board Chair Randy Green was on hand to personally thank all the ECCs in attendance. We can't say Thank You enough!
