On March 12, 2019, United Way honored the hard work of our Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECCs) with a festive celebration at Papa Del's Pizza Factory in Champaign.
ECCs are the link between United Way and our 230+ Workplace Campaign partners. ECCs manage all aspects of a company's employee giving campaign. From initial planning to gathering up the last pledge form, they work with United Way staff to have the best campaign possible!
ECC's helped United Way of Champaign County raise $1,606,000 in employee pledges in the 2018 annual campaign (and counting!). That's over 50% of our annual fundraising total! ECCs volunteer their time to make sure all employees at their company have the opportunity to give.
Guest speaker Cynthia Bruno, United Way Board Member and ECL graduate, shared a touching personal message of how she came to love the Champaign County community - and why giving back is personal. Members of the Board were on hand to personally thank all the ECCs in attendance. We can't say Thank You enough!
